EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS
Required Experience & Skills
- Three years of grant writing experience, preferably in a
multi-service agency
- Demonstrated ability to lead, write, and coordinate
government grants (county, state, or federal)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in
English
- Excellent problem-solving, time-management, and
organizational skills to meet tight deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively
with people of diverse ethnic, economic, racial, and cultural backgrounds
- Highly detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills and prospect research experience
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work in hybrid settings as needed (comfortable
with Zoom, email, Teams, etc.)
Desired Experience, Education, & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in liberal arts or social work
- Prior supervisory and management experience
- Budget development experience
- Raiser’s Edge database experience
