We are seeking an experienced digital media expert to fill the role of Associate Manager, Performance Marketing, in our Meals & Baking operating unit primarily focused on our Pillsbury brand. In this role, you’ll work with a cross-functional team toshape, enable, execute, and optimize media plans to accelerate growth for this nearly $2 billion business.You will operate in an agile and iterative process with accountability to drive specific KPI’s and measurable outcomes. We’re looking for someone with a strong learning mindset who is looking for a new challenge and wants to apply their experience and expertise on one of the world’s most iconic food brands!

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Performance Media Plan Development, Execution & Optimization

Develop Performance Marketing strategies grounded in data, insights and intuition to solve specific consumer problems and drive measurable business outcomes

Define, size, and prioritize data-driven audiences based on media address ability using first, second and third-party data sets

Lead campaign execution with creative and media agency partners while interfacing with performance media channel partners as needed, specifically focused on:

  • Programmatic display and video
  • Social
  • Search (especially connecting/integrating national and retail paid search)
  • Retail media

Monitor campaign performance to identify and initiate real-time optimizations

Help the brand team define, prioritize and test hypotheses to accelerate learning and gain confidence through rapid in-market experimentation

Develop, incubate and build new data-driven performance marketing capabilities and best practices that can be scaled to other General Mills brands and businesses

Bachelor’s degree required in marketing, communications, or related field

5+ years digital marketing experience at an agency or consumer-focused marketing organization

Hands-on experience with digital and performance media, including:

  • Media planning and activation
  • Ad serving and tracking tools
  • Tag management systems
  • Reporting and analytics

Exposure to data-driven consumer segmentation and targeting using a range of data sets

Proven cross-functional collaboration and strong verbal/written communication skills

Experience interfacing with and managing agency and media partner relationships

Exceptional organizational and attention to detail, plus troubleshooting skills

Should thrive in dynamic and agile environments with a strong learning mindset

Salary Range:

The salary range for this position is $90100.00 - $150300.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifictions, etc. As such, pay for the succesful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
