This position supports the development and leads execution of athlete-centric marketing and communication strategies for the email channel, driving improved athlete registration and engagement in Life Time Athletic Events. This position is generally for a newer college graduate or someone with limited marketing experience and is designed to learn the fundamentals of email creation, ROI analysis, and execution process in a performance-based culture.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Gathers and leverages athlete insights from multiple sources to identify strategic opportunities for the email channel. Stay on top of channel best practices in the industry.
  • Collaborates with our Event Marketing and Partnership Marketing teams to align the email marketing strategy and executon with the event experience, pricing and operational strategies.
  • Partners with internal creative team, supporting marketing asset creation to ensure channel best practices and process from concept through delivery.
  • Develops, executes and reports on testing plans that drive improved performance 
  • Measures channel performance against defined metrics, partnering with internal marketing strategists/analysts and analytics teams 
  • Packages and delivers campaign results to key stakeholders in an effective, timely manner

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related business field 
  • Coursework providing data-driven marketing experience 
  • Knowledge of CRM, database, and/or analytics practices 
  • Detail oriented and excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Preferred Requirements:

  • 0-2 years of marketing experience in a performance-based culture
