Coloplast is looking for someone who can identify and develop new ways to engage our current and prospective customers in the US Market, in order to drive customer retention and new customer acquisition.

The Associate Marketing Manager, Social Media & Emerging Platforms will help set the social engagement goals and will be responsible for executing on emerging platform innovation for Coloplast to meet the needs of the business as well as our customer audience.

In addition, this role will be working with key stakeholders to develop, curate and execute on our social media content. They will be responsible for community management needs for the US Market and ensuring our goals for the strategic approach to engaging our audience via our social channels are met, according to expectations.

Major Areas of Accountability:

  • Execute on the social media strategy and develop social media channels as a vehicle to drive consumer retention and new consumer acquisition, including, but not limited to: calendar development, content creation and curation, community management engagement, and channel marketing point-of-contact across the US organization.
  • Execute on social media community management engagement response procedures according to guardrails, with a high level of excellence; must have exceptional writing, proofreading and editing skills
  • Compellingly communicate the Coloplast brand story with an eye for design and content best practices
  • Partner and support the social efforts for Comfort Medical and Wheel: Life
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing leads, marketing communications and media teams when preparing content for owned and paid social tactics
  • Drive emerging platforms that create breakthrough conversations about our brands and products to drive consumer retention and new consumer acquisition, including but not limited to: a) Curating a robust ambassador program, b) Exploring, presenting and testing new opportunities with patient associations, influencers and other emerging platforms and c) Providing guidance to the broader organization for content excellence aimed at delivering against the social media strategy.
  • Understand all the elements and steps needed to create great social content, while following any established best practices
  • Have an appreciation and understanding of a "test and learn" culture
  • Understand the overarching organizational marketing strategy, and leverage the digital assets that are developed at headquarters, as a part of the content strategy
  • Following guidelines for the tone, style and voice of all brand content and champion its implementation across all channels (taking into account CVI guidelines)
  • Evaluate and improve internal processes to support strategic planning and implementation
  • Develop and produce KPIs on consumer retention and new consumer acquisition in social medial and emerging platforms, and report on them consistently to improve digital campaigns and share with stakeholders

Essential Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in social content development/strategy and social community management experience; prefer med device/healthcare industry experience. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, media/journalism or related field 
  • Experience with the creation and curation of digital content across a wide spectrum of digital channels 
  • Strong writing, proofing and editing skills, within digitally focused environments 
  • Exceptional communication and relationship building skills 
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude 
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects at one time 
  • Possess a thorough current understanding and passion for social media 
  • Excited to explore innovation opportunities aligned to the business objective 
  • High attention to detail; highly organized 
  • Self-starter
