Position Details

Associate Marketing Manager
Southeast Wisconsin
Milwaukee, WI

The Associate Marketing Manager will be joining a newly formed marketing group within Paper Machinery Corporation and should have a passion for executing and developing marketing strategies in a global environment.

This individual will be responsible for developing, organizing, executing and creating marketing campaigns / promotional plans that incorporate all elements of the marketing mix for both our online (Web, Digital, Social, etc.) and offline (Trade Shows, print, press releases, etc.) elements. Campaigns will be data-driven and require analytical thinking to evaluate trends and areas of opportunity for the Sales Department to target.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment, should be able to offer critical data-driven solutions and instill a marketing led approach to business practices.

Working with Marketing Group management, develop and execute successful marketing campaigns for our machinery equipment product catalog while defining the Group’s annual plan and priorities.

Develop promotional campaigns and campaign elements that are data driven and target customer segments (Both International & Domestic) through multiple channels.

Facilitate marketing meetings with internal stakeholders, customers, prospects and agency partners.

Prepare content for and maintain web / social media accounts.

Manage the analysis of competitive activity and industry trends reporting to management areas of opportunity, or concern.

Establish benchmarks and prepare reports on an ongoing basis that displays results and performance of marketing campaigns against identified success metrics.

Responsible for management and implementation of CRM system, oversee the general inquiries / leads data infrastructure and generate new sales.

Serve as the direct liaison between agency partners and management of the Marketing Group.

Oversee development of internal marketing training documents for the Sales Department as identified and for new sales and marketing process implementations.

Manage execution of identified projects to stay within an allocated budget scope. Understand current and potential customer landscape. Prepare copy for press releases, blog posts, and other external facing marketing elements.

Oversee and execute trade show plan including booth design, promotional materials, signage, interactive elements and logistics.

Maintain discipline, resolve problems as presented and collaborate with other areas of the company to ensure the best technical representation of product categories.

Perform other duties as requested.

Education, Certifications and prior work experience:

Requires a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university with courses in Marketing or Business Administration plus five or more years of marketing experience on either the agency or product side (manufacturing is a plus). This individual should have a strong familiarity with digital / online marketing methods, as well as broad experience with offline marketing strategies. Master’s in Business Administration is a plus. Managerial experience is a plus.

Language Skills: Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information, respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and other employees of the organization. An element of creativity and strong writing skills will be required.

Computer Skills: Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Individual should also be familiar with Adobe Suite and other content creation platforms (e.g. MailChimp, Canva, etc.).

Technical skills and abilities: Ability to read and understand technical specifications and procedures.

Leadership skills and abilities: This individual should have good teamwork skills and be effective at communicating with both internal and external customers. This position requires a strong attention to detail and good organization skills. This position requires employee to manage difficult situations while adhering to project timelines.

Behavior skills and abilities: Strong personal skills to work with others under minimal supervision. Ability to work well in stressful environments and remain under control and alert is a necessity. Organization and planning is a must.
