Basic Position Objective Statement:

The Associate Product Manager will assist marketing leaders in the management of products to ensure revenue growth. This position will provide appropriate support to the sales marketing teams to advance product sales, identify market trends, and make recommendations for enhancing existing marketing programs to increase sales revenue. This position will work cross-functionally to assist in the definition and execution of a product and pricing strategy.

Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Assist with management of a sku portfolio of top performing products and provide recommendations to meet near term business objectives and long-term business health. 
  • Collaborate with Marketing Managers to build a comprehensive market plans to achieve business objectives. 
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing leadership in building compelling visual aids and training programs to help increase our sales force and customer’s confidence and knowledge in the use of our products. 
  • Oversee the development of sales collateral materials to highlight product features and benefits for both distributor partners and end users/consumers. 
  • Work with Research & Development to craft product feature/benefit copy, message hierarchy and technical information for Use & Care manuals, packaging, catalogs and web site specifications. Ensure product and engineering drawings are available for use during the development of marketing launch materials. Assist with development and tabulation of end user surveys. 
  • Support the packaging development process by providing product samples and overseeing structural development through successful testing. 
  • Provide Monthly Product Analysis to leadership, reporting on top-performing products and providing recommendations. 
  • Maintain Private Label lines by ensuring all packaging is completed and approved by customer and internal departments, projected annual volumes are shared with planning 
  • Other assignments as made by management.

Knowledge, Education and Training Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Associate degree required, preferably in marketing or a closely related field. Bachelor degree in marketing strongly preferred.

Key Functional Competencies:

  • Minimum 2 year’s previous experience in a product marketing role. 
  • Demonstrable experience working cross-functionally to execute on marketing strategy. 
  • Established ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously utilizing excellent interpersonal skills with an appreciation of cross-cultural differences, excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills and the ability to work across the entire LRC organization. 
  • Medical and/or Beauty industry experience preferred.

  • Results-oriented and strong decision maker with ability to prioritize complex organizational objectives and meet aggressive deadlines. 
  • Excellent organizational, sales, communication, analytical, leadership and interpersonal skills 
  • Regular attendance at work is required. Ability to work additional hours during the week or on weekends may be required. 
  • Ability to work in an office environment as well as remote locations as necessary. 
  • Time management skills and ability to prioritize projects and initiatives. 
  • Must have the ability to travel (air/land). Must have valid driver’s license.

Physical Requirements:

The ability to work in a normal office environment to include: sitting or standing for long periods of time, operating various standard office equipment, carrying paper documents/files, reaching and bending, speaking on the telephone, walking through our manufacturing plant, and wearing required personal protection gear (i.e. hearing, eye and foot protection).
