Who we are looking for:

We are seeking an Associate Director, Social Media Strategist and subject matter expert to join one of the largest teams at VML working on a couple key health clients.

Who you are:

You're a curious, culturally-fluent strategist who loves to question assumptions and challenge the status quo. You'll uncover insights that can guide a brand's ideas and decisions and play a key role in shaping their overall approach to social.

What you'll do:

  • Develop social strategies, social playbooks, activations and campaign ideas
  • Conduct and synthesize research, social listening and other data to guide a brand's strategic decisions
  • Partner with creative, strategy, data and media teams to support a brand's social marketing goals
  • Onboard and train junior team members

What you'll need:

  • 6+ years of social marketing experience
  • Experience leading projects and overseeing the work of others
  • Advanced understanding of social platforms and functions, and the ability to share that knowledge with others
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
