Associate Social Media Manager, Content

The Associate Manager, Content will work closely with fellow Social Media Managers and the Director of Content Marketing + Social Media, as well as peers across the Digital, Brand, Communications, and other departments, to ensure the content on Hyatt's social platforms is a true reflection of the brands and supports social business goals. They will also have responsibility of ensuring any content being posted on social platforms is relevant to the platform and targeted to the appropriate audience.


  • Creating, curating, and publishing social media content for several of Hyatt's brand's evergreen social media platforms 
  • Work with teammates on integrated brand campaigns, working cross-functionally with various departments to translate brand campaign objectives into social-first strategies and plans 
  • Instagram/Facebook Stories ideation & creation for multiple brands 
  • Hotel toolkit assistance for multi-brand & multi-department promotions or campaigns 
  • Secondary support for larger campaigns & initiatives (content creation, campaign management, execution assistance) 
  • Light community management as needed, flagging customer service needs to Global Care Center 
  • Leverage user generated content into evergreen social media content via partner tool in unique ways 
  • Assist with paid media management for ongoing monthly social campaigns on select platforms for various Hyatt brands 
  • Content creator management (incoming inquiries, evaluation, coordination with hotels, database management) 
  • Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt core values.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a social media management role 
  • Knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing. 
  • Creativity and immersion in social media, with in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms 
  • Strong familiarity with Sprinklr or similar social media management tools 
  • Ability to work with a variety of partners and team members across different projects


  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, Communications, English or technology-related

Computer Skills Needed to Perform this Job:

  • Strong familiarity with Sprinklr or similar social media management tools 
  • Strong familiarity with social media platforms 
  • Experience with Photoshop or additional photo editing tools for content creation is a plus
