Position Summary:

At FCB Chicago, the Associate Strategic Planner will be charged with understanding how channels, consumers, and brands inter-relate through primary qualitative research techniques, secondary resources, and collaboration with creative agencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team to understand consumer issues, leverages insights, writes briefs and conducts briefings on at least one brand 
  • Build collaborative relationships to include key clients in marketing and research with the assistance of team and manager 
  • Support team to identify optimal messaging context for each brand, target and market and work with appropriate teams to implement the phases of strategy 
  • Help manage ethnographic, online, and one-on-one consumer research 
  • Conduct qualitative research, using results for both insight generation and creative development 
  • Proactively assist in serving as a resource for creative ideas on brand and consumer issues 
  • Work with manager and team to build, manage and communicate branding for a product

Requirements:

  • 0+ years of relevant experience 
  • Specialized skillset/experience in market research and data analysis 
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant experience required 
  • FCB has adopted a hybrid working environment. It is required for employees to be in office Tuesday-Thursday and can work from home Monday and Friday
