What We'll Bring:

As the marketing manager for TransUnion’s US Communications vertical, you will manage the internal client relationships with vertical business executives and own the development and execution of B2B marketing strategies, plans and performance-driven demand generation programs leveraging our global operating model. You’ll identify and drive marketing growth opportunities that deliver on the Communications vertical’s business goals in close collaboration with sales, marketing partners, and product and business leadership.

You must be strategic and nimble, with a proven track record in effectively translating business needs and product offerings into compelling marketing plans and programs focused on specific buyer segments at all stages of the customer journey.

Expertise in full-funnel acquisition and nurture campaigns, as well as experience in cross-channel marketing strategies is needed, as is the ability to measure and report on program effectiveness and recommend opportunities for improvement.

Impact You'll Make:

  • Serve as trusted marketing partner and advisor to the Communications vertical leadership team and build long-term value by delivering marketing strategies and plans aligned to budgets, business objectives, and vertical priorities and growth targets 
  • Set actionable marketing strategy plans, identify KPIs and monitor and measure success and campaign performance across channels 
  • Own marketing campaign program management including conceptualization, initiation, creative brief development, pre-campaign strategy, content and creative alignment, and campaign execution with cross-functional resources 
  • Anticipate vertical’s marketing needs and proactively highlight opportunities for greater marketing impact through the creation of B2B marketing programs that incorporate thought leadership, research, advertising, events, etc. to optimize existing customer engagement and win new business 
  • Develop, manage and monitor the marketing budget Work closely with sales leadership and drive alignment and support among their associates to strengthen campaign follow-up 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

What You'll Bring:

  • 7+ years of successful marketing experience with focus on data/technology solutions in a B2B or agency environment 
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to business objectives and revenue growth 
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate with matrix partners in a large organization 
  • Full-funnel demand generation experience 
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills, including the ability to articulate business concepts and present to management team members 
  • Creativity, flexibility and initiative with the ability to work independently and collaborate in group settings 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with acute attention to detail and excellent prioritization and organizational skills 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or equivalent

The salary range for this position is $93,495 - $153,400. *The salary range for this position reflects the general range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position, and market considerations.
