General Summary:

This position is responsible for the overall communication of Greenheck’s benefit plans and programs across the company. This role is integrated with the benefits team, and partners with internal communications/marketing, to develop and deploy communication that educates, informs, and drives positive health care consumer behavior.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements benefits communication strategies across a variety of media, including print, web, email, presentations, video, and social media. 
  • In partnership with internal communications and marketing, creates or facilitates content in alignment with company branding and standards. 
  • Responsible for the overall strategy and deployment of key communication touchpoints, such as open enrollment, wellness events, and legal notices. 
  • Develops and maintains benefits communication calendar, working closely with the benefits team to identify additional opportunities where communication strategies may be appropriate. 
  • Works closely with teams across the organization to identify communication gaps and opportunities. 
  • Identifies opportunities to develop creative campaigns to support programs and drive engagement across all locations. 
  • Works with recruiting team to develop benefits communications that are appropriate and relevant to candidates. 
  • Partners with key vendors to communicate updates and programs. 
  • Develops and maintain metrics around communication outcomes. 
  • Responsible for the overall content and updating of the benefits communication portal. 
  • Works with benefits team to update and maintain employee-facing benefits content, such as orientation presentation, new hire enrollment packets, etc. 
  • Serves as back-up for general benefits questions and processes. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • Work requires a professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, which is equivalent to that which would be acquired by completing a regular four-year college program in human resources management, business, marketing, or communications. 
  • 3-5 years of experience in benefits, communication, marketing, or similar field strongly preferred. 
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across all levels and locations within the organization. 
  • Strong time management skills and high attention to detail/accuracy.
