Brand and Communications Research Manager
Chicago Illinois

The Brand and Communications Research Manager will serve as integral part of the Market Intelligence team to design, execute, and deliver impactful, actionable insights that meet evolving client needs.

The role will focus primarily on the design and execution of brand and communication research. The Brand and Communications Research Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the research process, including identification of key research questions, definition of research approach(es), research project management, analysis, insight identification, report creation and presentations.

Additional responsibilities include oversight of data gathering from other Market Intelligence team members and outsourced vendors, as well as personally executing secondary research.

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • 5+ years in Market Research with extensive use of both primary and secondary research approaches 
  • Must have demonstrated expertise in brand and communications research 
  • Must be able to interpret and integrate qualitative and quantitative data to identify insights and implications 
  • Must have strong communication and presentation skills, including experience presenting to executive management 
  • Must be capable of innovative thinking and have exceptional communication skills to drive client conversations that lead to insightful interactions 
  • Must have strong project management skills / be able to manage numerous projects simultaneously 
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented, intellectually curious, able to build effective working relationships and have a strong client-service orientation 
  • Expertise in data communication software tools such as Tableau strongly preferred 
  • Experience in professional services or a Business to Business environment strongly preferred 
  • Some experience in competitive intelligence is preferred
