Job Summary:

Manages Allina Health’s brand, including relationships with professional sports organizations and other key sponsored organizations. Leads the development of strategies to activate and leverage sponsorships to advance Allina Health’s strategic business objectives. Responsible for all activations related to major sports sponsorships, and uses associated assets and channels to advance the Allina Health brand and reporting on impact.

Key Position Details:

It’s an exciting time to join the Allina Health Brand and Marketing team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing our partnership with the Minnesota United Football Club. Your job will be to help us elevate the Allina Health brand through the partnership, and take point on all activations and initiatives. You’ll also help support other community sponsorships. If you have a background in sports or partnership marketing, this may be the role for you.

Principle Responsibilities:

Sponsor Relationship Management

  • Point of contact for professional sports teams and other key sponsored organizations. 
  • Serves as a liaison between sponsored organizations and senior Allina Health leaders. 
  • Pitches and negotiates activations with professional sports teams and other sponsored organizations. 
  • Advocates for the Allina Health brand with sponsored organizations
  • Functions as subject matter expert on sponsorship details, including contract terms and budgets

Sponsorship Activation Leadership

  • Develops vision for advancing the Allina Health brand and business objectives through innovative activations with sponsored organizations. 
  • Responsible for in-stadium and community activations with professional sports teams. 
  • Brings together cross-divisional resources of Allina Health to fully leverage and activate sponsorships. 
  • Manages budgets and people resources required for sponsorship activation. 
  • Manages relationships with third-party activation partners including consultants and agencies.

Sponsorship Strategy Advisement

  • Serves as a key advisor to the Vice President of Brand and Marketing and other senior leaders. 
  • Provides insights on key investments and opportunities for leveraging sponsorships. 
  • Advises on how sponsorships can integrate with the organization’s Brand and Marketing strategies, campaigns and internal cultural initiatives. 
  • Develops and manages a strategic approach to impact measurement and reporting. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sports Marketing, Marketing, Communications, or a related field required 
  • 5 to 7 years of sponsorship marketing experience, preferably with professional sports organizations preferred 
  • Brand marketing experience preferred
