Hampel, one of the largest U.S. manufacturers of heavy-gauge thermoformed plastic parts, and the global leader in calf housing under our Calf-Tel brand, is seeking a Brand Development Manager to develop and direct marketing strategies that drive growth and awareness of the various brands under which Hampel promotes its products and services. Key responsibilities will include product line extensions and communication strategies for existing brands, as well as the creation and development of new brands required to effectively introduce and grow new proprietary product introductions.

  • Create and implement appropriate brand development strategies to drive sales growth and brand awareness of the Calf-Tel brand.
  • Lead the brand creation and development effort for new brands required to support the introduction and growth of new proprietary product sales.
  • Develop and implement required marketing and communications strategies that position the Hampel brand in a manner that improves lead generation and drives growth within the Molded Solutions business segment.
  • Participate with sales in the evaluation, development, and implementation of product line extensions to augment the Calf-Tel brand.
  • Perform market research activity to evaluate market potential for new proprietary products. Evaluate market size and segmentation, overall competitive environment, price points, and channel analysis. Develop and implement appropriate go-to-market strategies to maximize sales of new products.
  • Lead all necessary channel marketing initiatives to provide support for field sales, key channel partners and end consumers. Ensure that partner expectations are being met and that appropriate collateral, training, and ongoing support is provided to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Manage Hampel Corp. web presence by developing content and messaging consistent with our business strategies and brand image / positioning. Enhance SEO effectiveness and track and evaluate search results to maximize quality of sales leads.
  • Oversee the overall marketing communications effort in providing direction, leadership, and ongoing guidance for the Marketing Communications Specialist.
  • Develop an annual marketing expense budget that drives brand development initiatives required to achieve targeted market penetration. Execute marketing plans funded within the annual budget and monitor expenses to ensure that we remain within budget.
  • Coordinate the registration of all applicable trademarks, domain names, and any other product or brand-related registrations as required to do business and to protect the interests of Hampel Corp.

Based out of our Germantown, WI headquarters, the ideal candidate will be a degreed professional with at least 7 years of brand development experience, preferably within the dairy industry or animal agriculture. Some channel marketing experience, and familiarity with big-box retail chain requirements is also highly preferred.
