Vortex is looking for an experienced Brand Manager to serve as the Vortex Edge brand champion, building the brand strategy and creating excitement around the Vortex Edge experience. We are seeking a creative, ambitious, and well-rounded individual to collaborate with key partners, including range operations, creative design, marketing communications, events, digital marketing and more to develop marketing campaigns and strategies to achieve our goals. The ideal candidate will leverage their creative and entrepreneurial nature with strong organizational and project management skills to help our customer focused organization develop the most advanced, highest quality and most exciting range and training experience in the industry.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Work with key stakeholders to define Vortex Edge brand vision and strategy, helping to define the overall brand narrative and communication plan. 
  • Develop custom, integrated marketing plans for Vortex Edge, partnering closely with marketing leads to incorporate campaigns into their strategies and tactics (including web, social media, PR, advertising, etc.). 
  • Design and develop customer programs and events that maximize experiences, loyalty, and retention across all customer touchpoints by innovating solutions based upon current customer research, consumer feedback, market trends and other activity. 
  • Drive launch strategies and schedules through coordination of cross-functional teams. 
  • Manage the customer experience; shaping the relationship, defining goals and deliverables and ensuring clear communication across the customer life cycle. Deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the entire process. 
  • Serve as the voice of the Vortex Edge brand and communicate the brand story to customers, media, at events, etc. 
  • Support the creation and execution of training roadmaps, assessing priorities and trade-offs between customer experience, time-to-market, and operational support load. 
  • Provide brand guidance, audience insights, and clear direction (written and verbal) to peers and internal partners to help elevate our marketing and content efforts. 
  • Collaborate with Creative Director and work with creative team on concept development including branding, design, and other ideas. 
  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors to ensure we’re consistently elevating the Vortex Edge experience. 
  • Organize and collaborate with Apparel Product Marketing Manager on the production of branded items such as stationery and merchandise. 
  • Serve as the customer on-site experience manager. Assist customers with any travel and logistics, ensure they have what they need while at our facilities and overall create a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone who walks through the door. 
  • Drive efficiency by ensuring on-time execution of key organizational initiatives. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of experience 
  • Minimum 3 years of brand/marketing experience 
  • Leader, problem solver and strong team player with an energetic, positive attitude 
  • Thrive on high-pressure challenges and deliver high quality work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment 
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing marketing plans 
  • Strong time management skills; 
  • Demonstrates a high degree of flexibility within tight deadlines 
  • Has strong influencing, negotiation, and communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) with the ability to be a thought partner/coach to internal team and stakeholders 
  • Experience with different methods of market research and data analysis 
  • Demonstrated ability to assess business value, time-to-market, and other trade-offs using data, when possible, to prioritize initiatives 
  • Anticipates future trends and implications accurately. 
  • Readily poses future scenarios. 
  • Experience organizing and managing resources to bring about successful completion of a specific project 
  • Understanding of brand strategy and positioning, managing the brand and providing clear brand guidelines 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project management best practices 
  • Experience using data and metrics to test theories, confirm assumptions and measure success 
  • Experience leading projects from ideation through execution 
  • Possess a high degree of initiative and motivation; a willingness to help fellow Vortex departments and customers 
  • Strong customer service and communications skills 
  • Strong technical aptitude with web-based productivity tools and intermediate to advanced proficiency of the Microsoft Office Suite
