Brand Management at General Mills is the engine of our success. We're looking for dynamic, data-driven marketers to join our team and lead the charge in shaping the future of iconic brands like Betty Crocker, Old El Paso, Totino’s, Blue Buffalo, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Annie’s and more. As a Brand Manager, you'll be a full-spectrum business leader, driving strategy, stewarding brands, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious growth targets. You'll be the hub of the wheel, making high-impact decisions, developing modern marketing strategies, and leading teams to deliver exceptional results. 

What You'll Do: 

  • Build Brands: Lead purpose-driven brand and channel strategies rooted in deep consumer insights and cultural understanding. Develop and execute integrated marketing plans across media, content, innovation, and retail, driving both long-term brand equity and short-term demand. 
  • Run the Business: Own P&L performance and deliver growth through strategic choices across pricing, promotion, innovation, margin, and distribution. Lead annual and long-range planning, forecasting, and business performance analysis. Navigate complex cross-functional relationships to deliver cohesive results. 
  • Lead Teams: Act as a collaborative leader, guiding cross-functional teams through ambiguity to achieve alignment and execution. Coach and develop Associate Brand Managers and early-career talent, fostering a high-performing and accountable team environment. 

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, Business, or related field
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in Brand Management, Marketing, Consulting, or Strategy.
  • Brand Management experience.
  • Proven experience leading teams including direct team management experience preferred. Cross-functional team leadership experience also considered.
  • Proven experience managing a business in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong commercial and strategic acumen, with experience owning a P&L.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills; ability to clearly articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity and operate with independence. 

Bonus Points:

  • MBA
  • CPG, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods, Food and Beverage, Pet, or Pet Food industry experience
  • Track record of coaching and developing talent
  • Experience with customer-facing strategies and external partnerships

Salary Range:

The salary range for this position is $106800.00 - $178100.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
