WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

This position is a key contributor within QBPs Proprietary Brand Business and will focus on the parts and accessories portfolio. Part of a talented team of passionate marketers with an opportunity to grow and be exposed to many areas of the business, this person will identify content topics, themes and ideas that connect B-2-B and B-2-C customers to our brands and their relevant product lines to drive awareness and demand.

Successful candidates will be grounded in modern marketing channels. Part wordsmith, part promoter, part savant, and part data wizard – this role will assist in the execution of multiple brand and product marketing campaigns while helping shape future initiatives. This position reports to the P&A Marketing Manager and will work cross functionally with members of sales, creative, product, web content, project and business management.

Assist in Brand Marketing Execution (40%)

  • Assist in the development and implementation of brand strategies for multiple brands.
  • Support product sample fulfillment for media reviews, working closely with editors to ensure articles are fact checked and published in a timely manner. 
  • Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation. 
  • Be a vibrant leader within the marketing team and understand and identify with brand vision. 
  • Work to support the marketing team while also maintaining strong cross-department communication.

Market Research and Campaign Analysis (25%)

  • Provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends. 
  • Supports sales staff by providing market trends, new product information, sales tools and promotional materials. 
  • Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics for measuring program success.

Marketing Asset Administration (20%)

  • Support the maintenance and development of internal tools, including a credentials database, tracking capability, global contact directory, and intranet sites. 
  • Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with graphics department, inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt.

Event and Tradeshow Management (10%)

  • Plan and manage events and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and coordinating mailing list.

Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned. (5%)

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1+ years of marketing, advertising, and/or communications experience. (This can include internships) 
  • Proven track record in managing deadlines while maintaining accuracy and juggling multiple projects 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 
  • Strong understanding of the English language with grammatical skills for developing and proofing content

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience managing corporate and/or brand social media channels a plus.
