Brand PR & Communications Manager

WNDR is seeking a full-time Brand Communications Manager to join the Brand & Engagement team in our Chicago, IL office. As the Brand Communications Manager at WNDR, you will be instrumental in crafting and disseminating our brand's narrative, fostering deep community engagement, and steering our brand strategies to new heights.

This person should have deep empathy for our customers, the ability to deliver a compelling vision and inspire internal & external partners, a mastery of public relations, an excellent network, an unwavering work ethic, and a proven track record of surpassing business goals.


  • Charting the course for comprehensive PR and strategic partnerships that resonate with our mission and business objectives. 
  • Amplifying the WNDR brand on a global scale through forward-thinking PR campaigns, media relations, and leadership content. 
  • Driving media coverage through the development and implementation of the WNDR’s earned media strategy for our venues, the brand as well as other projects and initiatives. 
  • Actively engaging with both mainstream and niche media to secure press coverage, build new communication opportunities to position WNDR as a thought leader in the industry. 
  • Owning media measurement and reporting by leveraging data analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of PR and communications strategies, informing adjustments for optimal impact. 
  • Industry Networking: Serve as a brand ambassador at industry events, forging meaningful connections with influencers, stakeholders, and media to enhance our brand's visibility.


  • BS/BA in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications or related field required. 
  • 3 or more years experience in public relations field required 
  • Proven ability to build a brand through inspiring and differentiating messaging and content distribution 
  • Capable of developing strong relationships and trust with journalists and media houses leading to results across all media 
  • Passionate about building brands and a clear understanding of the critical role PR plays 
  • Skills in analyzing performance data to guide strategic decisions and demonstrate ROI. 
  • Solid business acumen and analytical mindset 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills capable of crafting compelling messages for diverse audiences. 
  • Commitment to upholding policy and procedures in accordance with company standards
