Acuity is seeking a Branding Specialist - Email Marketing to help develop and monitor the execution of Acuity’s marketing initiatives and activities. These initiatives and activities includeemail marketing, marketing automation, campaigns (print, digital, social media, etc.), digital sales, content marketing, and events.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop email marketing strategies for prospects and policyholders that leverage content customization and personalization. 
  • Work with cross-functional teams to upgrade current emails to a modern look/feel that incorporate our brand voice and tone. 
  • Grow and maintain Acuity’s email marketing list. Monitor deliverability and overall account reputation to ensure messages are being delivered to the inbox. 
  • Help Acuity implement effective email marketing practices grounded by in-depth understanding of the customer, current email trends, and Acuity business goals. 
  • Analyze the results of email marketing, conduct A/B tests, and drive continuous improvement for email marketing. 
  • Integrate marketing plans and campaigns within the Acuity website, and other corporate communication strategies. 
  • Support content development process including idea generation, writing, design, and routing content through approval processes for blogs, videos, infographics, social posts, webpages, and other types of content. 
  • Assist in the creation of strategic marketing plans to meet future needs and expectations for Acuity, including monitoring market dynamics to develop and/or change strategic and tactical approaches. 
  • Help Acuity implement effective marketing practices grounded by in-depth understanding of market research, customer focus groups, and consumer trends. 
  • Work to develop and maximize programs to attract a qualified, engaged, and energized consumer audience. Includes optimizing media targeting, channel mix and creative execution to drive incremental business results. 
  • Participate in customer segment meetings to present updates/analysis as well as promote social media, digital media, and traditional marketing capabilities. 
  • Skilled writer with understanding of how to write for web/digital communications while keeping the Acuity brand persona in mind. 
  • Understand creative development processes and promote creativity in marketing communications. 
  • Maintain a consistent corporate image throughout all Acuity product lines, promotional materials, and events. 
  • Regular and predictable attendance. Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing or Communications preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

Experience in marketing field including: online or traditional marketing strategies, understanding consumer decision journeys, and emerging marketing trends/opportunities.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with email marketing platforms including developing email templates, managing campaigns, quality assurance testing, and coordinating sends. 
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and utilizing marketing automation to drive efficiency throughout marketing efforts. 
  • Understanding of marketing optimization by channel and customer segment to build and strengthen relationships with a brand. 
  • Solid interpersonal skills and willingness to working with cross-functional groups. 
  • Familiarity with diverse marketing programs, research, content management, and analytics tools. 
  • Experience measuring, analyzing, and optimizing campaign and program performance against established business objectives. 
  • Ability to adapt to change through utilization of new concepts and technologies.
  • Effectively organize and accomplish tasks. 
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and problem solving skills. 
  • Drive to learn new things and stay current on customer and marketing trends, technologies and tools

This position is classified as exempt.

The salary range for this position is $70,000-$95,000 annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
