DeWitt LLP is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Marketing & Business Development Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. This role is ideal for a high-energy individual passionate about legal marketing and strategic communications. You will work closely with attorneys across multiple practice areas and offices to implement initiatives that support client development, brand building, and visibility.

Digital & Content Marketing

  • Create and manage engaging social media posts and accompanying graphics across platforms.
  • Maintain the firm’s social media editorial calendar.
  • Update website content using Sitefinity CMS and optimize pages using Siteimprove Analytics.
  • Draft, edit, and maintain attorney biographies.
  • Design internal communications such as biweekly firm news alerts and internal social posts.

Events & Sponsorship Coordination

  • Manage logistics for events including CLEs, client seminars, webinars, conferences, and firm outings.
  • Coordinate contracts, venue bookings, catering, invitations, and follow-up communications.
  • Track RSVPs, prepare name badges, handouts, and presentation materials.
  • Support the design and distribution of event invitations and manage post-event engagement.
  • Maintain the firm’s master marketing and sponsorship calendar.

Business Development & Attorney Support

  • Assist in the creation of tailored RFP responses, pitches, and presentations in collaboration with attorneys and the Marketing Director.
  • Maintain marketing collateral and materials related to the attorney's practice areas.
  • Write and submit entries for awards, directories, and rankings.
  • Track ROI of marketing and business development efforts and contribute ideas for improvement.

Internal Communications & Miscellaneous

  • Design and distribute new employee announcements.
  • Keep the marketing section of the firm's intranet up to date.
  • Support firmwide strategic initiatives and perform other marketing tasks as assigned.
  • Occasional travel to other offices or events as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional services or B2B marketing environment (law firm experience preferred).
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with Sitefinity or similar CMS and analytics tools like Siteimprove.
  • Familiarity with email platforms, such as Constant Contact.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, or Canva.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position based in our Brookfield office. DeWitt employees enjoy the benefit of remote work after a period of onboarding determined by their supervisor. The benefit permits employees to work remotely for up to two days per week, provided performance requirements are achieved.
