BizTimes Media LLC is a multi-media company that publishes BizTimes Milwaukee magazine and operates, a national award-winning local business news web site.

BizTimes Milwaukee is a business news magazine with a circulation of more than 12,000+ businesses and 59,000 readers. The magazine provides news and operational insight to owners and managers of southeastern Wisconsin companies. The print edition is published every other Monday.

The editorial staff also produces the BizTimes Daily and Morning Read newsletters along with annual publications STUFF, Giving Guide and Wisconsin 275.

BizTimes Media is seeking a reporter to cover nonprofits, education and health care. We cover southeastern Wisconsin, helping the region’s business leaders, our readers, better understand issues facing our community while shining a light on work being done to make this a better place to live and work.

Minimum skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism. 
  • Minimum of one year of print and/or online journalism experience.
  • You do not need to have previously covered nonprofits, education or health care, but familiarity with southeastern Wisconsin will help. You should also have a track record of published journalism.

The salary range for this position is $40,000 to $50,000 and is negotiable based on experience. BizTimes Media also offers an attractive benefit package and includes health insurance and 401(k).This is a great time to join our organization—a profitable, well established publishing leader.
