The primary function of this position is to drive cross-functional initiatives that commercialize products and marketing programs for Ace Hardware. This role goes beyond support - it’s about owning the process, influencing stakeholders, and steering strategic growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with National Account Managers and Ace Hardware to grow the business through Promotional Strategy Planning, Category Expansion, and New Product Commercialization with a focus on both Top and Bottom-line improvement
  • Cultivate key relationships and lead strategy development and execution of channel-specific commercialization initiatives with a cross functional team, ranging from Coordinators to Group Presidents
  • Identify key issues, trends, and opportunities by collecting, developing, and analyzing sales reports, customer feedback, and market research
  • Participate in development of annual business plan for specific categories of business.  Conduct competitive market analysis to formulate recommendations for an annual brand plan and channel spend including advertising and promotional strategies

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Sound analytical skills and acute attention to details. Persuasive and able to effectively communicate ideas across multiple levels of the organization
  • Highly organized and very strong, proven project management skills
  • Desire to challenge the status quo and develop new ways to grow the business
  • 5 years+ of work experience – preferably in a Marketing, Product, or Sales environment
  • Knowledge of channels of distribution – retail knowledge is a plus
  • The ability to travel up to 10% of the time
