Channel Marketing Specialist

to drive messaging, manage channel programs and support channel marketing efforts to support the dynamic growth of the LG Information Display business division. The Channel Marketing Specialist will be part of a team responsible for developing, managing and executing programs to drive leads, campaigns and promotions to enhance channel partnerships. This position will leverage sophisticated marketing applications, including Pardot and Responsibilities will include managing reseller MDF budgets, process and campaigns; managing the LG PRO partner program, analyzing sales trend data, anticipating requirements and implementing strategic and tactical channel marketing plans. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits is crucial. An effective collaborator and strong team player, the Channel Marketing Specialist works cross-functionally with other groups including product marketing, public/media relations, marketing operations, outbound marketing, sales and product management. Reporting to the Senior Channel Marketing Manager, the position is based in Lincolnshire, IL and offers significant opportunity for career growth.


Management of various aspects of the LG PRO program. Including but not limited to:

  • Communication to channel partners regarding programs, events, and product specific information 
  • Managing webinars to channel partners 
  • Channel lead distribution process 
  • Work with the business unit to optimize partner content and develop processes for effective launches with an emphasis on commercial display products. 
  • Analysis and reporting of program effectiveness; recommendations for improvement

Market Development Fund Management

  • Working with field sales and LG PRO partners to spend MDF allocations effectively to drive demand for LG Information Displays 
  • Managing the MDF process from prior approval to payment, including reporting to the channel and/or field sales regarding budgets and deadlines. 
  • Implementing and managing LG PRO Partner Marketing Program to ensure visibility to the program and creative assets are updated. 
  • Analysis and reporting of program effectiveness; recommendations for improvement

Quarterly Promotion Process

  • Management of promotion process including creative and announcement. 
  • Analysis and reporting of quarterly promotions effectiveness on business; recommendations for improvement

Channel Lead Distribution

  • Management of lead distribution process including training and system maintenance 
  • Analysis and reporting of quarterly promotions effectiveness on business; recommendations for improvement

Other tasks as needed

  • 3+ years of marketing and or communications experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree required, graduate degree a plus. 
  • Experience working with B2B Channel partners such as DMR’s, Distributors, Resellers 
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude and strong sense of accountability. 
  • Strong understanding of commercial networking and selling in a B-to-B environment 
  • Proactive, self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. 
  • Creative mind and track record of developing successful marketing content and programs is critical 
  • Excellent project management skills and able to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced team. 
  • Professional presence and communications skills. 
  • Must have strong analytical skills with extreme proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
