As one of the most-followed financial brands, Chase communicates with millions of social media users across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat and Twitter. Our social media team continues to grow and we’re seeking a Social Media Associate to join our Community Management team. The Community management team acts as the eyes and ears of the brand, tasked with engaging its communities while driving social conversation through proactive listening. The team monitors social conversations for serviceable and PR matters, proposes innovative ways to grow audience and engagement for the brand’s social channels and helps execute an integrated strategy for bringing Chase’s brand pillars to life on social.

As a Chase Social Media Associate you will:

  • Oversee community management for Chase influencers in partnership with the social customer service team. 
  • Build and maintain organized inventory for individuals with material connections to JPMC 
  • Monitor social media content for individuals with material connections to JPMC to ensure compliance with FTC 
  • Monitor for broader mentions of Chase and JPMC (e.g., beyond Owned channels) on social media 
  • We have your finger on the pulse of culture with knowledge and understanding of earned media and influencers 
  • Manage whitelisting of partner accounts for marketing promotion 
  • Pull earned metrics and influencer insights 
  • Craft strategies and messaging for Chase executive social channels

Ideal candidates should have:

  • General knowledge of community engagement: from social media networks (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) 
  • Experience with influencer monitoring tools (Klear) 
  • Experience with social media monitoring and management tools for publishing, reporting, and social listening (i.e. Sprinklr, Zignal) 
  • Boldness to pitch fresh ideas within the team, think creatively, and identify and solve problems 
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills 
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, excel, Powerpoint) 
  • Ability to cultivate relationships in the firm across divisions and lines of business 
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage several tasks simultaneously 
  • Strong research skills 
  • Team player with enthusiastic attitude and entrepreneurial spirit. 
  • Eager to learn, contribute, and make an impact. 
  • Proactive by nature and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines 
  • PR experience a plus
