SINGULAR PURPOSE:

Lead team diagnosis, recommendation and implementation of marketing strategies which achieve client goals.

This particulary opportunity requires knowledge and agricutulture experience in the dairy and/or beef cattle segments.

DUTIES:

  • Lead relationship with clients (as assigned), connecting the business goals of client with the marketing capabilities of Filament 
  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients 
  • Ensure timely, efficient and high-quality work is achieved by Filament and delivered to meet client expectations 
  • Represent Filament value and capabilities to help exceed expectations and grow business 
  • Learn, share and advise of trends and insights relative to clients’ marketspace, before and after client ask 
  • Challenge, support and inspire internal teams to deliver great value and break barriers 
  • Manage budgets and ensure value-based performance is met for client and company, alike 
  • Be an internal and external leader to help improve the value of agriculture

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES:

  • Four or more years of applicable marketing and/or marketing-communications experience in the agriculture industry 
  • Strong, first-hand awareness and knowledge of the dairy and/or beef industry 
  • Proven ability to plan, think strategically and identify unexpected opportunities
  • Demonstrated success with both time and fiscal management 
  • Diverse experience and understanding of marketing channels 
  • Excellent ability to build interpersonal relations and inspire others 
  • Proactive mindset; positive attitude; team committed 
  • Time management and detail accuracy 
  • Professional, mature, personable, confident, dependable, and trustworthy 
  • Understand, interpret and apply insights and data for planning, course-adjustments and result evaluation 
  • Be inquisitive; always ask why, and what more Instinct to put team ahead of individual, and value over quantity 
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills 
  • Bachelor’s degree in agricultural subject, communications and/or business
