Clockwork is seeking a Client Strategist to join our team! In this position, you will play a critical role as a builder of community, advocate for our clients, and champion of Clockwork through empathetic interactions and strategic leadership.

In this role, you will:

Balance the needs of Clockwork, clients, and teams.

  • Lead and prioritize the efforts of a cross-functional team 
  • Envision and articulate a definition of success for client engagements and inspire the team toward that vision 
  • Monitor team capacity, seek out and grow work, partner with our Business Development team to bring new opportunities to the team 
  • Skillfully balance shifting priorities, meetings, timelines, and project work in a self-motivated, deadline-driven environment

Be flexible and intuitive to clients needs.

  • Always seek to be knowledgeable about our clients’ industries, their strategic plans, and goals. Motivated to learn through research or conversation with clients. 
  • Strategically partner with team members to ensure product outcomes are aligned with client vision 
  • Demonstrate the ability to work with clients of varying sizes and complexities, proactively anticipating their needs 
  • Apply skilled knowledge of delivery methodologies and their impact on client goals

Ensure client relationships are healthy.

  • Proactively partner with your team to manage and analyze client health and balance with project/team health 
  • Clockwork values highly collaborative, flexible individuals. Our Client Strategists work within small, cross-functional teams and form close professional and consulting relationships with our clients.

Some specific things needed for success:

  • 5+ years consulting, client engagement, or product management experience. Relevant past roles might include Program Manager/Lead, Project Manager, Engagement Lead, Product Owner, Strategist, Digital Business Consultant.
  • An understanding of how digital projects work. Versatile and experienced delivering outcomes on a wide variety of engagements, including at least two of these categories: Experience design and product development; Digital experience and technology consulting or Business transformation.
  • Demonstrated experience working with a variety of clients, including large-scale, global organizations. 
  • Passionate about the impact of technology on business. 
  • Familiarity driving projects in an agile delivery process. 
  • Communicates clearly with the ability to distill complex information in simple, human-centered ways. 
  • Commands a room. Comfortable leading larger and more complex client interactions. 
  • Advanced facilitation and communication skillsets
