The Communications and Marketing Intern supports the Program Management Office in communicating and driving high quality support across business lines. You will be responsible for supporting communications and marketing campaign planning and execution. Assist in the creation of written, video, and image content for marketing channels and write copy for social media posts, promotional emails, and other marketing collateral. As part of the Program Management Office, you will also participate in marketing and communication brainstorming sessions.

As a Communications and Marketing Intern, you will be responsible for:

  • Develops and maintains various email distribution lists for the PMO (Program Management Office) 
  • Ensures that communication and standard templates are stored, displayed, and updated per requirements. 
  • Assists in creating, consolidating Executive reports, PowerPoint decks, etc. 
  • Develops and consolidates materials for Program Management Office (PMO) newsletter. 
  • Draft communications to support small PMO (Program Management Office) initiatives. 
  • Support small change efforts, e.g., Leadership Satisfaction Survey (LSAT) Site Action Plans 
  • Manages small Program Management Office (PMO) initiatives with oversight/guidance from Senior Director 
  • Support Program Management Office (PMO) onboarding process enhancement and the development of a formal offboarding program. 
  • Support marketing campaign planning and execution. 
  • Write copy for promotional emails, and other marketing collateral. 
  • Assist in the creation of written, video, and image content for marketing channels. 
  • Participate in marketing brainstorming sessions. 
  • Manage Meeting Calendars for Global PMO Senior Director and Global Account Executive

  • Rotates through our divisions of responsibility and provides ideas to grow and improve the business. 
  • Accepts designated, business-focus projects to research, propose ideas and solutions, and present final project during the internship.

Knowledge and Education:

  • Currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field. 
  • Successful completion of introductory courses in marketing, business, or equivalent 
  • Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) 
  • Previous experience with the use of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premiere Pro) and social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social) a plus 
  • Prior industry experience is preferred
