The Communication & Proposal Coordinator will also provide writing and design support when appropriate and will collaborate with staff to effectively communicate a range of ideas, messages, and concepts to both external and internal audiences.   • Work with Business Development and other staff to prepare proposals, presentations, award submissions, internal communication content, etc. 
  • Interview project teams and subsequently write resumes, project descriptions, award submissions, and copy for print and digital applications. 
  • Work with staff to develop proposal sections and scopes of work. Determine proposal concept/content/design by identifying and clarifying opportunities and needs; study requests for qualifications/proposals (RFQ/Ps); attending strategy meetings. Establish priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, design, review and approval. 
  • Improve proposal-writing results by evaluating and re-designing processes, approach, coordination, and standard assets (graphics, copy, etc.).

EXCELLENT WRITING SKILLS are critical to this position. To help set yourself apart from the crowd, we encourage you to include 2-3 examples of your work (i.e.: RFP, RFQ). Know your way around Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, plus have a degree in communications, journalism, marketing or graphic design and be a team player. Preferred candidates will have experience with social media platforms.
