Children’s Wisconsin is seeking hard-working and enthusiastic undergraduate students to fill two paid Communication Intern positions.
These roles support the full scope of our work. This includes communication to our employees, physicians and other providers as well as messaging to external audiences. Strong writing skills are a must for these positions that involve a wide variety of storytelling, including corporate messaging, media relations and social media. Other responsibilities include pulling data and generating reports to track and improve the effectiveness of our communications. Our interns also have the opportunity to support special events, video projects and more.
We take pride in providing meaningful work experiences where these teammates can strengthen their skills, expand their exposure to multiple facets of health care communications and develop a strong portfolio to jumpstart their professional careers. Successful candidates will have prior work experience, including internships or other demonstrated application of communication skills to address organizational needs.
These positions are full-time during the summer and part-time once the academic year begins (hours based on individual schedules). These are temporary roles that are not eligible for benefits. In-person work is required with some opportunity for remote work.
