This position leads the graphic design work for Brady’s internal Corporate Communications team. Creative, detail-oriented, and technically-skilled, the Graphic Designer enjoys working in a fast paced, highly-collaborative environment with lots of opportunity to lead on new projects. Responsible for collaborating with the Corporate Communications team, company digital and marketing teams, IT, and company leadership in the creation and production of various creative content, including but not limited to email campaigns, Power Point presentations, event logos and collateral, infographics, posters, brochures and other materials. Also will lead in owning Brady’s intranet and assist in photography or videography projects as they come up. Provides creative recommendations at both the strategic and tactical level based on their expertise. Responsible for maintaining, implementing and policing the use of established corporate branding standards and brand integrity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Proven ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects, accommodate fast turn-rounds and adapt to changing deadlines in a highly-collaborative, input-driven and globally-distributed environment
  • Willingness to take direction and implement improvements from peers, superiors and stakeholders
  • Comfortable taking initiative, developing a creative opinion and defending that creative opinion in line with corporate objectives and expected outcomes
  • Make proactive recommendations to improve creative and develop content Manage relationships with print production and other vendors handling quotes, price negotiation and quality assurance of final piece
  • Comfortable working with senior leadership Lead design work for all graphics/art work and other visuals for Brady’s bi-annual leadership event, annual town hall meetings, and other related events
  • Serve as liaison between website developers and the Communication team to help maintain and update the Company’s corporate presence on BradyID.com/Bradycorp.com
  • Support Global HR and Executive functions on communications projects
  • All other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • 3 years plus experience in graphic design, digital marketing or related creative role
  • A bachelor’s degree in visual art, communication, marketing or a related field
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite 
  • Comfortable designing HTML at a beginner to intermediate skill level
  • Strong communications skills
  • Demonstrate initiative and ability to meet deadlines

Desired Characteristics: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

  • Video production and still photography skills strongly desired
  • Knowledge of Google suite of programs, including Google Sites
  • Knowledge of basic social media platforms, tools and tactics
  • Experience in writing or content development
  • Knowledge of Sitecore CMS
