Responsible for initiating and disseminating internal and external communications and branding efforts through traditional and new media. Set the overall vision and marketing strategy in conjunction with company objectives.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Design and develop content, graphics, and photography for the Company's biannual newsletter, distributed to employees, customers, retirees and vendors. Responsible for coordination with printing press, in addition to e-news via Constant Contact.
  • Develop audio, video, photography and content, as appropriate, for internal and external communications.
  • Research and monitor market trends and the competitive landscape
  • Assist employees with the preparation of presentations, proposals, training curriculum and/or speeches geared to both internal and external communication.
  • Write, edit, and proofread all corporate website content and provide photography, multimedia, or graphics. Ensure website content is updated on a regular basis (via WordPress platform).
  • Take photographs of in-process and completed construction projects to display in printed and web materials.
  • Provide programming and support for the Company's computer-based e-learning training system and assist in employee training initiatives.
  • Develop social media calendar, coordinate with outside vendors for successful digital marketing campaigns, and track Google analytics.
  • Coordinate attendance, sponsorship, travel, and giveaways for industry trade shows annually.
  • Design graphics for print and web use for the Company and individual departments, per request.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a communications/marketing or related field
  • 7-10 years' experience in a marketing/corporate communications role
  • Excellent writing skills; ability to write in various styles for diverse audiences
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork capabilities, ability to develop strong, trust-based relationships
  • Must be a self-starter, can take initiative and work independently with minimal guidance
  • Must be able to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Basic social media and digital marketing experience preferred
  • Good business acumen and judgment combined with a strong work ethic, professionalism, and integrity
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred

Description of physical working environment:

  • Normal office environment.
  • Routinely works from a sitting position with a computer.
  • Repetitive typing and computer use required.
  • Regular bending, twisting, and light lifting is common.
  • Travel to local jobsites as needed.
  • Occasional out-of-state travel required.
