Communications & Marketing Specialist

Purpose of the Position:

The Marketing & Communications Specialist will support the efforts of the Communications & Marketing Department by professionally promoting the programs and services offered by North Central Health Care utilizing multi-channel marketing and design approaches and skills. Additionally, will be responsible for executing design concepts planned for both internal and external marketing and communication purposes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists Communications & Marketing with advertising material and communications media to effectively communicate with targeted audiences 
• Collaborates with internal departments to create posters, flyers, signage and other print and electronic media to serve clients, patients, residents, staff and community 
• Manage and update company website and social media pages 
• Assists with brainstorming, development and production of corporate videos and presentations to engage, inspire and promote organization 
• Assist with preparations and planning for events such as expos, trainings, seminars and trade shows 
• Promotes organization at public events, expos and activities 
• Develops, organizes and prints media and information materials (brochures, letters, purchase displays, invitations, etc.) for specific assignments 
• Maintains regular and predictable on-site attendance.

• Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards along with federal, state and local codes pertinent to role based on job title.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing or related field earned at an accredited four-year college or university.
• Three to five years related experience in Communications, Marketing or Graphic Design
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Software (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) as well as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint) on a Mac or PC Platform.
• Must be self-motivated and driven
• Ability to meet deadlines and/or targets
• Ability to take creative direction and translate into various forms of communication pieces

Driving Requirements:

• Valid Wisconsin driver's license and appropriate auto insurance coverage as required by North Central Health Care.
• Must have the use of a personal vehicle.

Preferred:

• Experience in PC and Mac Platforms
• Experience in social media implementation and management
