Job Summary:

A Communications Associateis accountable for developing and executing stakeholder communication strategies for the organization. This work includes but is not limited to executive positioning, communication counsel, planning and execution, project ownership, business system stakeholder management and conference content delivery to improve business partner engagement. A primary role includes developing quality, error-free, strategically targeted communications to benefit the business system. At this level, project leadership will be of critical importance.

The Role:

The Communications Associatewill support the communications team in a variety of areas, including PR, social media, events, employee communications and general marketing communications work. They should be ready to jump in to provide support to other Marketing team members on various campaign work as needed for the goal to enable positive engagement between Arity and any of our target audiences.

Provide communications team support in a variety of areas, including PR, social media, events, employee communications. Specific tasks will include but not be limited to:

  • Manage Arity social media presence – everything from message and visual development to reporting to thinking of new campaign ideas 
  • Support writing and editing of PR communication materials (e.g., pitches, news releases, blogs, briefing sheets, etc.) 
  • Serve as comms partner to Culture and People team, with support of Internal Comms leader, to enable necessary Employee Brand communications deliverables 
  • Manage internal communications calendar used across IC, People, and Culture teams; suggest changes and/or bring communication and messaging conflicts to the attention of the group and provide a solution 
  • Play an active role in projects and initiatives primarily related to employee brand communications, such as Summer Team Events, Internal Business Update meetings, etc. 
  • Help manage deliverables related to company and employees’ participations at sponsored events and conferences 
  • Various tasks to support PR agency work 
  • Continually challenge the status quo of the business, seek new and innovative opportunities to elevate the company and bring fresh perspective to the department and role. 
  • Manage your time under a variety of conditions. 
  • Inspire others with your enthusiasm and work ethic. 
  • Be an engaging and effective communicator of your ideas.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience 
  • 3+ years of business experience in a Marketing and/or Communications role, preferably within technology industry

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Passionate for creative storytelling and skilled writer, especially an ability to make complex solutions relatable and understandable 
  • Ability to handle and enjoy projects from huge initiatives to simple requests 
  • Marketing generalist interested in and with experience helping develop creative communication deliverables that drives brand and product messaging across all Arity target audiences – external and internal 
  • Experience creating content for various mediums, especially social media, blog, and internal platforms 
  • Creative thinker with a willingness to be scrappy and think on the fly 
  • Ability to effectively engage and effectively communicate ideas and contributions

Compensation offered for this role isand is based on experience and qualifications.
