Communications Coordinator

As a member of the ABPMR team, this position is responsible for creating content and implementing ABPMR communications, marketing, and public relations plans under the direction of the Communications Manager.

Essential Functions:

• Write content for various platforms
• Proofread various communications, including emails, website content, video scripts, print materials, and displays
• Create short video content and simple graphics for website and social channels
• Maintain online News Center posts, social media, and email campaigns
• Monitor various online platforms, news sources, and industry publications for relevant news
• Coordinate trade meeting materials
• Maintain schedule for office and board director updates
• Assist with volunteer tracking and recognition efforts
• Provide support preparing materials needed for board meetings
• Provide backup customer service support on phones and emails when needed
• Assist with: a) webinar scheduling, b) mass email audience sorting and distribution, c) photography and videography projects, and d) survey creation, dissemination, and results analysis.

Education and Experience:

• Associate Degree in communication, journalism, English, or related field 
• Three years' experience in content writing or marketing 
• Experience with website and social media content management preferred 
• Experience with simple design and video editing software preferred
