QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience:
- BA in marketing or other relevant field
Required Skills:
- Strong writing and editing—familiarity with editing to style.
- Expertise working in a marketing context with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other social media channels.
- Familiarity with an email program such as Constant Contact.
- Familiarity working with WordPress for web management and basic familiarity with html.
- Ability to organize and track projects and workflow.
- Excellent customer service skills. Must have strong organization skills and the ability to complete tasks on deadline.
- Ability to perform work accurately, with high attention to detail.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Publicity management.
- Management and presentation of data.
- Ability to use graphic design tools, such as InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
Other Job Requirements:
- Must be available to work occasional nights and weekends.
- Requires understanding of and respect for diversity.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position requires the ability to do one or more of the following throughout the day: stand, walk, sit, bend and reach above and below shoulder level. The position involves frequent repetitive motion (typing, filing, etc.). The noise level in the work environment is variable and unpredictable, ranging from quiet to loud.
