We are searching for a talented and professional Communications Coordinator to join our team. This role will support our Communications department in developing and implementing a communications strategy designed to further the company objectives. The ideal candidate will help create promotional materials, facilitate employee recognition programs, support tradeshow and conference events, and assist in community outreach projects aiming to promote our mission and values. You must possess superb written and verbal communication skills, and have in-depth knowledge of marketing trends.

Responsibilities:

  • Create copy and artwork for digital and print content including newsletters, advertisements, and company announcements. 
  • Work with Communications team to coordinate logistics for leadership conferences, golf outings, and other employee and public events. 
  • Deliver presentations to new and current employees about our mission, values, and programs. 
  • Make sure that all promotional and marketing materials meet the company’s brand identity strategy. 
  • Identify and resolve any issues with promotional content in a timely and professional manner. 
  • Coordinate logistics for attendance at trade shows/conferences, along with distributing promotional materials. 
  • Facilitate employee recognition programs, including leading committee meetings and distributing awards. 
  • Film static and video footage at job sites and events 
  • Edit photography and videography captured internally for promotional and educational purposes.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s (or Associates) Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working in a marketing or communications position.

Proficiency with:

  • Adobe Creative Suite (emphasis on PhotoShop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro)
  • SharePoint
  • WordPress

Functions:

  • Possess a solid understanding of effective marketing techniques.
  • Must have excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills.
  • Bring creativity and an ‘out of the box’ approach to projects.
