The Communications Intern will assist the Batteries Plus Bulbs corporate communications team to help ensure communications integrity, standards, and procedures. The Communications Intern will assist in publishing news articles, product announcements, program updates, and help distribute information among departments and stores.

Located on-site at the Batteries Plus Bulbs corporate office and national headquarters that supports our 700+ retail stores nationwide, the Communications Intern provides a great learning opportunity for a current college student working towards their Bachelor's Degree in Communications or related field. Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the distribution of information throughout the organization 
  • Proofread and edit communications to ensure information accuracy 
  • Analyze metrics and data to improve communication flow and how stores obtain information 
  • Audit all system content regularly for content integrity, consistency, and retention 
  • Assist Communications Manager and Communications Administrator with other projects as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current student working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field 
  • Working knowledge of MS Word and Google Suite products 
  • Demonstrated strong written communication skills 
  • Ability work part-time flexible hours
