Communications Internship

Mueller Communications

Mueller Communications is Milwaukee’s leading legacy PR firm. Our team of smart-as-a-whip professionals has extensive experience in research; strategic communications; crisis and corporate communications; government and public affairs; and digital content marketing. We stem from a diverse range of backgrounds but we’re all problem solvers at the end of the day. With Mueller, you’ll get the opportunity to work with some of the region’s most influential players, from national healthcare organizations and retailers to beloved cultural institutions and community organizations, and everything in between. In a single week, you might draft a press release, attend a news conference, build a marketing campaign, write ad copy, or help out with a video shoot. Two days are never the same. We take pride in the great work that we do, but we’re even more proud working in this city knowing we’ve made a real impact. We know you will, too.

You might be wondering — How does this internship work in today’s world of video calls and virtual work? Like any good communications professional, we ask you to be flexible and comfortable with ambiguity as we establish our return-to-work protocol this summer. We hope that our staff will return to in-person office work soon, but we’ll continue to offer flexibility as a key pillar of our program. Ultimately, we’re looking for a self-starter who isn’t intimidated by making the most of a hybrid virtual/in-person environment.
