Communications Manager - Ascension Wisconsin Foundations

The Ascension Wisconsin Foundations are seeking a Communications Manager to join our expanding team!

The Communications Manager is a seasoned and strategic healthcare marketing and communications professional who leads and implements donor-driven and results-focused internal and external campaigns while collaborating with the foundation leadership and the marketing and communications function to leverage partnerships.

  • Serves as Communications Manager for Ascension Wisconsin Foundations, leading donor engagement, retention, experience, internal and external communications.
  • Leads and collaborates as a strategic thought partner with foundation leadership as well as marketing and communications function on initiatives.
  • Supports engagement with and cultivation of donors, associates, physicians and board members.
  • Responsible for the project management, implementation and activation as well as deadline-driven delivery of all foundation communications activity.
  • Responsible for understanding and acting upon business KPIs and financial analytics, tracking the marketing and communications performance to meet those goals and reporting regularly on results to goal.
  • Responsible for the creation and execution of a strategic communications plan for all Wisconsin foundations.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with internal and external colleagues, stakeholders, donors, and opinion leaders as needed to support the advancement of the Ascension Mission.


  • Bachelor's degree required

Work Experience:

  • 3 years of strategic communications experience required.
  • 5 years of strategic communications experience preferred.
  • Healthcare and/or Foundation experience preferred.
  • 1 year of leadership or management expereience required.
  • 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
