Purpose:

The Communications Manager is responsible for partnering with the Corporate Client Communications team to develop and implement communication strategies in support of client audiences. This position collaborates with staff at all levels to execute the Prime client communications strategy,focusing on content and communications that supports a trusted advisor brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Support run the business, government/regulatory, thought leadership and issues management/crisis communication needs of Client Engagement and clients 
  • Apply an understanding of Prime’s business strategy, major initiatives, and success stories 
  • Work collaboratively with multiple internal partners (internal/external corporate communications, product marketing, sales, growth & retention, customer insights, government relations, etc.) across the company to evaluate, plan, and deliver significant communication strategies (including media relations, messaging, materials, and other delivery mechanisms) 
  • Manage and/or consult on multiple projects and initiatives, prioritizing effectively and meeting deliverable dates 
  • Leverage a variety of tactics and channels (email, video, presentations, interviews, Office365 tools, etc.) to effectivelyreach and engage audiences 
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communication or public relations, or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience; HS diploma or GED is required 6 years agency or corporate communications experience 
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications:

  • Strong writer with the ability to simplify complex information making it revenant for the client audience 
  • Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, critical thinking, decision making, and relationship building skills 
  • Ability to interact with senior leaders and effectively make recommendations that tie back to business objectives

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity of interactive media and communication tools including video, CRM software, Office 365 tools and other social collaboration vehicles 
  • Project management experience
  • Previous health care experience and/or pharmacy or pharmacy benefit management knowledge preferred,
