Job Purpose and Impact:

The Social Media Strategy Manager will build our social media strategies to increase engagement, affinity, good will and advocacy. We seek a professional to work within our corporate team, collaborate with partners to validate and align social media strategies, identify opportunities to increase impact across the organization. You will partner with our marketing and communications leaders to develop and oversee strategy implementation, correct course, assess results, evaluate outcomes and report to internal partners. You will act as a business partner and client relationship manager, influencer and convener within the company.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop, validate or provide counsel for social strategies that meet key business priorities aligned with global communications and corporate priorities. 
  • Operate as critical connection, integration and alignment point among businesses, functions and corporate priorities and programs. 
  • Help businesses, functions and others work successfully within the social media governance and risk framework. 
  • Develop strategies and campaigns, including tactics, key performance indicators and measurement, providing performance updates to clients. 
  • Work with the social channels senior manager to craft paid and platform strategy; partner with social content manager to bring creative and content elements to life. 
  • You will work under minimal supervision and independently handle complex issues while referring only the most complex issues to higher-level staff. 
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field 
  • Minimum four years of directly related work experience 
  • Solid experience creating and driving digital social media strategies within a corporate environment 
  • Understanding of the current marketing communications technology stack, including content management tools, social listening tools, etc. 
  • Strategic experience 
  • Experience managing and executing paid and earned digital marketing including display, PPC, paid social, SEM, SEO, etc. •May require travel up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications 
  • Effective presentation, public speaking and written communication skills 
  • Solid interpersonal skills; ability to run several projects at once 
  • Seven to eight years of related work experience 
  • Experience working in different environments, including agency or consultancy as well as corporate 
  • Experience with web analytics platforms: Google Analytics, Adobe or Coremetrics
