The National Fluid Power Association (NFPA) is a trade association with more than 340 member companies involved in the manufacture and distribution of hydraulic and pneumatic products and systems. NFPA seeks a professional who can create and manage communications and promotional campaigns for key programs, including creation and maintenance of content for related websites and digital media properties. The person would also provide planning and logistical support for several related events, and help drive growth in member engagement with NFPA services.

Responsibilities include:

  • Create original communications in print, web and digital media platforms, designed to inform members and other audiences of NFPA services and achievements, and to achieve goals for engagement.
  • Track and report metrics for related programs and services, and organize discussions and planning aimed at achieving goals through use of communications.
  • Manage production and promotion of podcasts.
  • Manage and maintain the content for WordPress-based websites aimed at promoting NFPA’s workforce development activities.
  • Provide logistical planning and support services for a series of modest-sized regionally-focused meetings.

We’re looking for candidates with:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • One to three years of experience in a similar capacity.
  • Proven organizational and communication skills.
  • The ability to use good judgment in complex situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Ability to use website content management systems, such as WordPress. Adobe Creative Cloud capabilities are a plus. 
  • Some travel is required.
