What you will do:

As the Communications Specialist & Copywriter, you are a key contributor in our organization and with our clients. You are the lead copywriter working directly with the marketing team to develop and implement efforts to strengthen communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create informative and creative content for the company and clients including case studies, project summaries, award submissions, headlines, scripts, story telling, speaking points, etc.
  • Work with the marketing team, graphic designers, and social/digital media contributors to develop copy for various marketing deliverables 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to write, edit, and review copy using the company’s guidelines 
  • Manage and support client work related to communications and engagement throughout the planning and implementation phases of construction projects 
  • Facilitate sessions with internal project teams to develop communications strategies for complex construction projects 
  • Create and edit communications plans, presentations, and informational materials for multiple audiences and stakeholder groups 
  • Confidently present as a subject matter expert and company representative at meetings and events 
  • Other responsibilities as they develop
  • A bachelor degree in english, communications, marketing, public relations, or a related area 
  • 5+ years of relevant experience 
  • Expert user of Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn and use new technology and software 
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) and Google Workspace 
  • Superior writing and editing skills with attention to detail 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a team 
  • Highly productive work ethic that thrives in a fast-paced environment
