Communications Specialist - Software, Mobile Video, Cybersecurity and CTO

The SMVC team is seeking a highly motivated and creative Communications Specialist to support the communications team and activities related to the organization.


  • Write copy for a broad range of internal and external communication mediums, including email, web, and print, with a human-centric and technology perspective. 
  • Create presentation decks to support executive and employee customer-facing activities. 
  • Create multimedia storytelling through video, audio, and video production. 
  • Maintain internal communications calendars, web pages, and organizational charts. 
  • Collaborate on new and creative initiatives to improve internal team communication and external customer communication. 
  • Build and distribute internal communications to the necessary audiences using our internal email platform. 
  • Ensure the timely distribution of internal and external newsletters with content that delivers value to our internal teams and customers while conducting measurement and analysis of our programs to help identify opportunities for improvement. 
  • Maintain and evolve our organization’s internal website.

  • Knowledge of the mobile/telecommunications industry

  • Writing and editing copy 
  • Presentation design 
  • Creating and managing internal pages 
  • Project management 
  • Script-writing, shooting, and editing video using Adobe Premiere or Apple Final Cut Pro is a plus

Basic Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree
