Sound good to you? Explore what we have to offer. The Communications Specialist role is an exciting opportunity to join the Braun Intertec corporate marketing and communications team. This role will drive internal storytelling efforts by creating engaging, forward-thinking content that highlights Braun Intertec Vision, Purpose, Values, and culture for the company intranet, a monthly newsletter, email, and more. The Communications Specialist will also assist the Corporate Communications Manager with developing strategic communications plans, enforcing corporate brand standards, and supporting recruiting efforts with compelling messaging.

Responsibilities:

  • Write, edit and deliver engaging, forward-thinking content that highlights Braun Intertec Vision, Purpose, Values, and culture as well as the employee-owner experience for the company intranet, email, presentations and other communications as needed. 
  • Develop and manage corporate calendar and editorial calendar to support internal content, newsletter planning and award entries. 
  • Lead day-to-day content management (reviewing, editing and updating) of the corporate intranet 
  • Develop and prepare monthly internal digital newsletter for employee-owners. 
  • Assist the corporate communications manager and internal corporate services (e.g., human resources, safety, finance, business technology) with creating communication plans that support projects, such as open enrollment, new system rollouts, new policy announcements, changes to the employee owner handbook and market research efforts. 
  • Develop content to support Braun Intertec recruiting including materials for job fairs, recruiting events and other projects, as needed. 
  • Support enforcement of corporate branding standards. 
  • Create visual communication elements for content and corporate initiatives.

Required Skills:

  • Strong writer and editor, experienced with crafting messages and telling stories. 
  • Willingness to innovate and experiment with new ways to reach employee-owners and drive engagement to support corporate strategic initiatives. 
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. 
  • Experience crafting strategic messages for multiple audiences and channels. 
  • Ability to multi-task and drive multiple projects forward in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail. 
  • Strong organizational skills. 
  • Service-oriented personality. 
  • Experience with SharePoint.

Minimum Experience and Education:

  • A bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Journalism or Communications preferred. 
  • At least four years of writing experience within the AEC industry or other professional consulting services desirable. 
  • A marketing or communications background is desired.
