Promote the Foundation’s education and services through public relations and all relevant communication channels. Develop internal and external communications which support the Foundation’s mission and promote its products, services and strategic initiatives

What You Would Actually Be Doing:

Create copy for various Foundation products and services, working with team members to best meet marketing goals. Adjust the tone, voice and quality of information to best engage the target audience while meeting marketing goals.

Support tactics to elevate the Foundation and its products/services/content through social media and other online community platforms. Coordinate daily monitoring, posting, and content development and customer support. Measure and track success of social media initiatives.

Execute public relations campaigns, contributing to campaign concept, pitching news ideas to top-tier and industry media. Write and distribute news releases/media advisories regarding International Foundation research, education and services. Respond to requests for information and prepare spokespeople for interviews. Maintain media database and create media measurement reports.

Serve as project manager for major Foundation communication projects such as educational catalogs, annual reports, web pages, multi-product messaging and other member communication.

Lead the tactical marketing execution of assigned programs and services by planning and managing promotional campaigns. Included are media planning, campaign/project management, behavioral-based marketing management, copy writing, email marketing, webpage management, social media and oversight of graphic design and the creative process.

Support marketing initiatives with creative and cleanly built email communications. Leverage the Foundation’s customer database to target communications effectively and manage a product’s marketing communication campaigns as assigned.

Support the broader business development team in market research, data analysis, identifying growth opportunities, member outreach, tradeshow/event participation, and fostering relationships with key industry stakeholders and influencers.

This position requires a bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism or Communications or related degree with at least 5 years of related experience. Requires demonstrated success in leading the creation of compelling experiences that promote growth and increase engagement. Excellent cross-functional project management skills, with the ability to build consensus and coalition across reporting structures. Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Strong Microsoft Office and social media skills. Comfortable working with data analytics and web content management tools.

In addition, it is essential that the individual be a team player able to multi-task while working in a diverse business environment. The successful individual will be detail orientated, self-motivated, a good communicator, with good organizational skills, creative and possess team collaborative skills.

The individual must be able to travel (approximately 15%) and be able to work in a normal office environment.
