As an Employee Communications Specialist, you'll develop and coordinate day-to-day employee-facing communications across a variety of tools and channels, including video, intranet, email, and other written and digital communication tools. You will collaborate with a variety of internal and external business partners on the development and delivery of content, acting as a consultant to develop strong communication campaigns and effective messaging. You'll also help plan and execute employee engagement activities and events, acting as a project manager when needed.

  • Consult with business partners to develop thought leadership around critical messaging and create effective communication plans. 
  • Define metrics and analyze data to measure and track desired metrics to better understand the audience and effectiveness of communications. 
  • Work closely with Executive Leadership and other leaders across the business to meet their content and messaging needs. 
  • Execute all facets of employee communications-related meetings, which may include scheduling, developing strategies and milestones, providing technical and audio/visual support, managing logistics and attendee support, and more. 
  • Participate in the planning and execution of a variety of employee-engagement activities and events, which may include developing strategies and milestones, planning and scheduling, providing logistics and support, managing a team of volunteers, and more. 
  • Prepare and edit routine and non-routine messages, reports, and presentation materials with the highest degree of accuracy. 
  • Provide innovative solutions and incorporate ideas using current industry trends to achieve corporate communications strategies. 
  • Provide ongoing support of critical employee communication tools by collaborating with Employee Communications team members and various business partners in the development and maintenance of all types of content and tools, including digital signage and our Intranet. 
  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

Sound Like You?

You might be just who we’re looking for if you have...

  • A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Writing, or a related field. 
  • Three to five years of experience creating and delivering corporate communications across multiple channels, including print, email, and digital and social tools. 
  • Previous project management experience. 
  • Previous experience with executive messaging, including speeches, scripts, blogs, etc. (preferred). 
  • A high degree of confidence, poise, and agility to interact with Executive Leadership and represent Employee Communications. 
  • The ability to effectively adapt under shifting conditions and competing priorities. 
  • Strong writing, proofing, editing, and word processing skills. 
  • The ability to manage a wide range of activities and multiple projects under tight deadlines. 
  • Skills and experience in Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365, and Sharepoint tools and environments. 
  • Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Premiere. 
  • A proven ability to work in high pressure situations. 
  • The ability to be self-directed, highly motivated, and attentive to detail. 
  • High energy, positive energy, and creative thinking. 
  • Project management experience. 
  • The ability to work a flexible schedule, including limited evenings and weekends as employee engagement activities require. 
  • The ability to perform all essential job functions of the position with or without accommodations.
