The Consumer and Community Banking Auto Communications team is looking for a highly organized and driven communications pro who can find, craft, and share great stories for external and internal audiences. Reporting to the Head of Chase Auto Communications you will support proactive and reactive media relations to highlight Chase Auto, our dealers and manufacturing partners.

As a Communications Sr. Associate on the Chase Auto’s Communications team, you will also create employee stories, organize internal experiences and develop editorial strategies that inspire. You will help our team deliver excellent and efficient work by managing the editorial calendar, media tracker and other tools that we use for strategic storytelling. Working with a supportive team in a fast-paced, high-profile environment, you will also manage organization announcements and partner with the executive communications team and HR Partners.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Find, tell, and share great stories to reach key external and internal audiences including consumers, dealers, manufacturing partners and employees 
  • Craft talking points, news releases, backgrounders and other collateral materials in support of the company’s media relations program.
  • Execute strategy at national, trade, and regional levels 
  • Contribute fresh ideas to reach employees through our communications channels and experiences 
  • Coordinate and write organizational announcements in partnership with executive communications and HR partners 
  • Help maintain our presence on the company intranet 
  • Serve as administrator for our tools including list management, editorial calendar and media tracker to effectively and proactively reach intended audiences efficiently 
  • Lead special projects as assigned 
  • Embrace ambiguity

  • Have a great sense of humor and a sense of purpose too and bring a strong desire to learn and stay ahead of what’s new and next

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 4+ years’ professional communications and/or marketing experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism or communications 
  • Basic understanding of the financial services industry 
  • Excellent writing, editing and presentation skills 
  • At least intermediate skills in PowerPoint, Word and Excel 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple assignments, stringent deadlines and changing priorities 
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and across multiple locations
