BWBR is looking for a communications intern who excels as a team player with a strong work ethic. We are searching for someone who is energetic, enthusiastic, creative, and curious. Applicant should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and possess great organizational skills. As part of our responsibility in this program, we will make all efforts to respond to your career goals, through targeted mentoring relationships to make the most of your intern experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Communications Manager to support external firm communications. 
  • Support the BWBR.com website refresh project (including content migration, QA testing, image updates, copy editing, and more.) 
  • Write web pages, blog posts, and other communications content. 
  • Help generate social media content. 
  • Support digital analytics and reporting. 
  • Help create internal communications guides and resources such as intranet pages. 
  • Provide additional Marketing/Business Development support as requested. 
  • Provide Knowledge Management support as requested.

Desired Skills:

The ideal candidate has strong writing and editing capabilities, is a quick learner who asks good questions, and can synthesize information and get to the core of a message (even when the subject matter is new to you). Experience with website management, social media, and/or basic graphic design preferred but not required. Candidate should be interested in/studying for a degree in English, Communications, or Marketing.

Hours/week: Temporary, full-time 32-40 hours/week (Flexible hours/days during Monday-Friday; 8am-5pm

Duration: Late May to end of August, with possibility to continue role during the school year.

Location: St. Paul
