Position Details

Competitive Intelligence Manager

The Competitive Intelligence Manager will serve as integral part of market intelligence team to design, execute, and deliver impactful, actionable insights that meet evolving client needs. Competitive Intelligence Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the competitive research project process, including but not limited to: project identification, scoping, development, data collection, analysis, report design, and presentations.

Additional responsibilities include oversight of data gathering from other Market Intelligence team members as well as outsourced vendors. Must have strong project management skills and be capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously. Must be capable of innovative thinking and have exceptional communication skills to drive client conversations that lead to insightful interactions. Must be extremely detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and have a strong client-service orientation. Must have previous competitor intelligence experience with application of both primary and secondary research techniques as well as deep industry and topic-based analysis experience. Reports to Market Intelligence Associate Director.

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • 8+ years of business experience; 5+ years in market research or competitor intelligence 
  • Experience in professional services strongly preferred 
  • Experience with technology offerings strongly preferred 
  • Experience with automated competitive intelligence platforms strongly preferred 
  • Must be able to interpret qualitative and quantitative business data to identify insights and implications 
  • Must be able to translate analysis to easily understood insights 
  • Must have strong project management skills / be able to manage numerous projects simultaneously
